Decisions Decisions!!!!

Hello All!!!! Sorry for the long absence. For all of you out there who care lets catch up shall we?? So Maddie is full on in school and is doing wonderful. Her teachers are Mrs. Alley and Mrs. Auman. They are 2 of the best teachers that I have ever been around. I was a guest of the classroom the other day to show the class the video that we took of our favorite area, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. All of the children were wonderfully behaved and were as excited as I was to be there. Well that was all it took. I am currently deciding whether or not I am going to persue a teaching career. I have just completed my application to become a subsitute teacher. Now I have had jobs that I loved but none of them seemed to make a difference. I feel if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem, So with that said I would embrace the oppurtunity to help to shape the young minds of today into the leaders tomorrow. I know that may scare the life out of some of you, (mom) but I do love children and they seem to like me. In two short hours I seemed to have bonded with the class so much that when I was leaving they all came and gave me a group hug. Now if you all havent been group hugged by about 20 5yr olds, that is a feeling like no other. Thank you all for listening and I will keep you informed as I move into the next phase of my life.
